Her Broken Mind
She crooked her head, eyes unseeing,
her broken mind, tired of being.
The once rich land between her ears,
now laid waste, by all her fears.
Chaos reigns in darkened spaces,
trips and triggers from those places.
Who can free those trapped inside?
Where bound to lies, they do abide?
Rejected, hated and pushed away
those dreaded voices who want their say.
Pushing out with ugly feelings,
of hurt and pain from life’s cruel dealings.
Open the door you locked truth behind,
truth accepted, will heal your mind.
